We’ve had a strange shortage of bath towels around the house for several months, to the point where we went and bought some more so we’d have enough towels when we had several guests with us at the same time.
This morning I wanted to take advantage of the light traffic due to MLK day and ride my bike to work, but I wasn’t sure what clothes and shower items I had here, so I packed a bag and brought most everything with me. Here’s what I found in my cabinet at work:
- 2 bath towels
- 2 hand towels
- 1 jacket
- 1 warm shirt
- 2 polo shirts
- 2 undershirts
- 1 pair chinos
- 1 pair shoes
- Full set of shower toiletries
I guess I didn’t need that full bag today after all — I was only missing underwear and a belt and I could easily have fit those in a jersey pocket.
