Elizabeth and Finley are getting along really, really well. He likes to play with her and I think wishes she would roll around with him like his litter-mates did. I think Elizabeth is probably a little too small for that yet but I see it happening when she’s a toddler! So far, Finley’s favorite things are napping on our rugs, following Elizabeth around and licking her, and just this morning we finally got him interested in doggy chew toys. Even though it seems like it’s been a long time, it’s only been a few days since he came home with us, but I’m really glad he is getting comfortable enough here to play.
It’s cute how he is bonding to Elizabeth, too. The easiest way to get him on a longer walk is to take Elizabeth in the stroller. Then he’ll follow wherever she goes! If I try to go on a long walk with him and leave Andrea and Elizabeth at home, he keeps stopping and wanting to go back to the house.
Elizabeth is pretty good at handling all the attention. She sometimes gets tired of it, but it’s okay because she just crawls away!
