This is why I prefer riding from home if possible:<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Pump up tires of bicycle and trailer<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Replace rear skewer of bicycle wheel with skewer and trailer mount<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Attach bike rack to car<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Collapse trailer<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Remove trailer attachment arm and flag; place in trunk of car<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Pick up the trailer and place it on the rear window of the car<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Roll it up and over the rear crossbar of the rack<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Secure it between the crossbars with luggage straps<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Remove front wheel of bicycle<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Place bicycle on bike rack and rear wheel in trunk<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Gather helmets and water for both rider and passenger<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Apply sunscreen and get dressed to go<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Drive to start location<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Perform steps 10 to 4<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Ride!<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Perform steps 4 to 10 again<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Drive home<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Perform steps 10 to 4<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s what&#8217;s involved in a 14-mile bike ride with Elizabeth, a two-year-old.
