There are several people from one of the local bike shops (LBS) who ride three times a week. The Saturday group is supposed to be easier, so I decided to start off with that. There were two other people in the group who were riding a good pace the whole day and I managed to stick with them. I rode farther than I usually ride, faster than I usually go, and was much less tired afterwards. I had a good time and am going to start riding Tuesday and Thursday as well. <\/p>\n<p>This weekend I also bought a pair of trail running shoes and am toying with the idea of doing a sprint distance triathlon sometime next year. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I did my first non-event group ride.
